Angelina Angelov
After more than 10 years in leadership positions as part of the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA), and almost 20 years in different positions within Russin, Vecchi & Heredia Bonetti, one prestigious law firm in the Dominican Republic, it is my goal to help lawyers do what they like, practice law while sharing my experience managing the corporate aspects of a law firm.
Our purpose is to offer solutions to create a corporate strategy focused on trends within the profession, knowledge management, and improvement of business operations processes to ensure sustainable development and continuity, using technology tools and information security.
At the same time, to offer advice in the selection of the best talents, in addition to development and compensation plans. We recommend on how to strategically manage teams, teaching them how to attract new businesses and master the techniques of marketing.
Angelina Angelov, CLM, MBA is the Certified Legal Manager, Consultant and Educator. She concentrates her work on strategy, operations, knowledge management, systems information and innovation.

In addition to writing, she was also speaker and moderator at international and local conferences on strategic planning, innovation, cyber-security, managing human capital and best practices to manage change in the legal environment, strategies used to attract new clients, and Global Perspectives on the Business of Law. Most recently, she was invited speaker for IP Week RD, IWIRC, Legal Colloquiums RVHB, ADOPI, ALA Annual Conference, en National Harbor, MD en el 2018 y en Denver, CO en el 2017, internationally she has participated as speaker at the ALA Annual Conferences in National Harbor, MD, USA in 2018 and in Denver, CO, USA in 2017, LACCEI in Boca Raton, Florida Atlantic University in 2017, and Meritas Regional Meeting in the Dominican Republic in 2016. Some of her work has been published in Gaceta Judicial Magazine, RD, LexLatin, DiarioAcento, RD and Legal Management Magazine, USA.
Angelina Angelov is the first International Member of the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) to become Certified Legal Manager, CLM in November 2019, recertified in 2022. While working at the same time, she began her university studies in the late 2000’s, as a consequence of the wars in former Yugoslavia, her home country, in the 1990s. She graduated from Business Administration (Magna Cum Laude) from the Universidad del Caribe (2008). She immediately continued with her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE), Corporate Finance mention from Florida International University (FIU). She continued with: a Diploma in Business Administration and Management from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM); a Certificate in Negotiation Techniques and a Certificate in Project Management from Florida International University (FIU); Finance and Accounting for law firms in the United States in 2017 and 2019; Business of Law Learning Center, Selection and Promotion for Lawyers 2017, ALA, endorsed by the Society for Human Resources Administration of the United States (SHRM). In addition, she attends the Annual Conference of the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) and the biannual conference of the Dominican Association of Human Management Administrators.
Angelina is a member of the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) since 2010. She was recently appointed to serve on it's Board of Directors. (2023-2026). She is former Chair (2022/23) and Vice-Chair (2021/22) for Product and Service Review Committee 2022-2023. She served on the Planning Committee for ALA’s Annual Conference and Expo, Kissimmee FL 2021/2023. She also served the Business Partner Relations Committee (BPRC) for 2017-2020, and the International Relations Committee (IRC) for 2013-2016 and 2019-2021.
She is member of the Strategic Intelligence platform for the World Economic Forum, (since 2020)
She is Industry Participant of International Legal Technology Association (ILTA)
Member of Dominican Association of Human Management Administrators (ADOARH)
She was also a member of the Legal Marketing Association (LMA).
Angelina was elected to co-lead the Meritas law firms Firm Administrator’s Networking Group as Co-Chair for the Latin America and Caribbean Region for 2013-2016.
She also served as Coordinator of the Human Resources Committee of the Association of Foreign Investment Companies (ASIEX) for 2012-2015.
